The proposal involves: • the development of Home 1 with a total of 320 beds composed of 234 beds conditionally allocated by the MLTC and the transfer of all 86 beds from Erin Mills Lodge Nursing Home in Mississauga owned by the Licensee; • the development of Home 2 with a total of 320 beds, all conditionally allocated by MLTC; • the issuance of a 320 bed licence with a 30-year term to each home; and • the closure of Erin Mills Lodge Nursing Home following the development of the Home. Ontario will also allow personal care services, such as barber shops and salons, and other indoor settings to remove capac- ity limits and physical distancing if they require proof of vaccination. The decision was based on continued improvements to key public health and health care indicators, according to Health Minister Christine Elliott.
