The Town of Oakville is involved in a number of court cases and appeals to save the golf course from being destroyed, including a court hearing to deter- mine the owner's rights un- der the Ontario Heritage Act, a court proceeding re- garding the legality of the town's Cultural Heritage Landscape Conservation plan, and Local Planning Authority Tribunal hear- ings that are slated for sometime in late 2018 and 2019.
