Description
Bob did the rural route postal delivery for years. His wife, Ruth, was a well-known schoolteacher in Trafalgar Township, teaching at Coyne, Glenorchy, Omagh and Percy W. Merry public schools. Their farm was on the 4th Line.

In 2005, the North Halton Compass (Eden Mills, ON) printed an extensive "Shoebox Memory" of the Brownridge family. They mention that Bob's father, Foster or "Tos" as he was called, was well-known for his big Sawyer Massey tractor which he used for custom work. Bob looks as though he, too, loved the machines and made good use of their abilities.
