The funds were to be put to immediate use in supporting the board's Mental Health Symposium this month. It will also ensure every school has a resource tool kit designed to promote student mental health during Children's Mental Health Week May 4-10. The board says research shows student mental health and well-being impacts school performance, attendance and achievement.
