TAYLOR, Myrtle Marguerite 1920 - 2012 Devoted wife, friend and confidante for over 66 years, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to three children, eight grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Myrtle passed away in Oakville on Tuesday June 5, 2012 at the age of 91. Much loved by Don her recently deceased husband, her children Donna (Mike), Margot (David) and Rick (Holly); grandchildren Michelle, Ella, Myles, Laura, Stephen, Cole, Alysia and Brent; great-grandchildren Hailey and Braden. Myrtle devoted her life to her family, her husband and his career. When her husband went to war on the North Atlantic she kept the home fires burning while caring f o r a n e w b o r n d a u g h t e r. S h e guided and propelled her husband's career with uncanny insight and social graces that helped him achieve the successes they shared over 66 years. She was a dedicated mother that only wanted the best for her children and a loving grandmother who spoiled her grandchildren. Family will receive v i s i t o r s a t t h e WARD FUNERAL HOME, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905-844-3221) on Friday June 8 from11a.m.to1 p.m. followed by a chapel service at 1 p.m. Interment a t Tr a f a l g a r L a w n C e m e t e r y, Oakville. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
