Cherished and devoted wife of Charles Withnell of Milton. Much loved mother of son Larry Withnell (wife Kathy) and daughter Ronnie March. Adored grandmother of Chad March and step-grandmother of Kristen and Kerri. She is predeceased by her brothers, Robert, Howard and John Eves and her sister Doris Winton. Left to mourn are her brothers and sisters and their families: Ted, Walt, Ron, Bernice, Donna Buck and Linda Moskel and sisters-in-law Jean and Frances Eves. There will be a gathering of family and friends at McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home 114 Main Street, Milton 905-878-4452 on Friday, June 26 2009 from 5-9 PM. Pre-deceased by her husband Robert Barrington (1993), survived by her loving partner Walter Nadolink, daughter Hope Barrington, stepchildren Paul (Brenda) Barrington, Kim (Robert) Everest, grandchildren Brooke and Carly, sister-in-law Rachel Blum, nephews Etan, Ron (Natalie) Blum and constant companion Dolly. Helga will be sadly missed by her extended family, many friends as well as anyone who has ever tasted her cooking. A very special thank you to Anna Haaksma, Helga's friend, Angel here on earth and Caregiver extraordinaire for all her help and support. Also to all the nurses at Outpatients Department, Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital who have cared for Helga over the past few years. Upright and true to the end of her days. DR. RICHARD THOMAS POTTER entered into rest at the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital on Tues Feb 17 2009. Beloved husband of Enid Grace Weaver for 68 years. Loving father of Tom Potter, Frances (Peter) Stone, Andy (Sue) Potter, and Karen (Tom) Anderson. He will be sadly missed by all his 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Born in Belleville, he graduated from Queens University Medical School in 1939. He served in WW II from 1939-1945 commanding a Mobile Hospital Unit, leaving with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He returned to practise medicine in Belleville where he became Mayor in 1951. From 1967-1975, he was an MPP in the Conservative Government as Minister of Health and Minister of Correctional Services. The memorial service will be held on Saturday June 27th at 11:30am at St.Thomas' Anglican Church in Belleville, ON. Sincere and true in her heart and mind. Beautiful memories, she left behind.
