Jay Walden converted a pass from Ben Pace with a minute remaining in overtime to lift the Flyers to a 1-0 win over the Erindale Cyclones in the championship game. The win concluded a 4-0-1 showing at the tournament for Oakville. Earlier in the competition, the Flyers blanked Sudbury 8-0, tied Erindale 2-2, tripled up Waterloo 6-2 and defeated Sarnia 31. Flyers goalie Callum Challis recorded two shutouts at the tournament and was named the competition's most valuable player. Oakville's other tournament win this season came at the NobleKing Atom Challenge Cup Tournament, when the Flyers outscored their opposition 18-5.
