On Wednesday Oct. 3, Dirty Dancing and My Best Friend's Wedding are playing at The 5 DriveIn, with all net proceeds from ticket sales going to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The event is hosted by VicCin Accessories, a women's fashion accessories business, and The 5 Drive-In. The goal is to fill the drive-in parking lot with 500 cars to support the cause. The 5 Drive-In will have the barbecues going, so people can come early for a barbecue dinner. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for a tail-gate party diva-style. Draw prizes, music, food, shopping and movie popcorn will be featured before the chick flicks hit the screen at dusk. Tickets cost $20 per car in advance or $25 at the gates.
