Each of the province‘s 55 Little Caesars Company restaurants will feaâ€" ture the Christmas Paper Elves with each representing a needy boy or girl. Customers may select an elf when they visit the restaurant and then purâ€" chase a toy for that child. Wrapped gifts may be returned to the restaurant with the elf taped on top. The restaurants are also collecting nonâ€"perishable food donations for the Salvation Army through collection boxes. The goal of the program, which runs through Saturday, is to distribute food, warm clothing and more than 80,000 toys to children from infancy to early teens. Charitable donations benefit both the donor and recipient he Christmas season brings out the best in people, especially with the spirit of giving. Charitable organizations hope this same spirit of giving will conâ€" tinue throughout the year. These WATSON organizations are widely diversified â€" and range from education to arts and culture, from health and social services to environmental causes. The common denominator among these organizations is that they are becoming increasingly cashâ€"strapped. As government fundâ€" ing is reduced, the demands put on their services are increasing. Generating cash to fund these worâ€" thy causes is becoming critical.
