Description
Enlisted with the Lorne Scots at the age of 16. Transferred to the 48th Highlanders and then to the Queen's Own Rifles to go overseas in 1941. James died in 1944 at the age of 20, from wounds received in France. He was survived by his wife and baby daughter in London, England.
