Letter – I am horrified : Theo – May 1, 1915
Windsor Cottage Bodmin Cornwall

My dear Sybil

I am horrified to think I never wrote to you and the sweet you sent was quite excellent. We have had your Hugh staying with us. We did our best for him, though I am afraid he must have found it rather dull for these times are far from much entertaining. My 3 children …loved and adored him and he was so good to them. I have just taken my oldest boy Johnnie to school and I hope he will get on. Next week I am taking the 2 younger ones to Torquay as Hilda is staying there. Michael has gone out to France again. He was back for some time on sick leave. I don’t think he will be out long this time as he has 2 more ambulances to arrange about in England

With lots of love

Your affectionate cousin
Theodora Aldham.
