A postcard sent to Charles T. Baillie at Naparima College in San Fernando, Trinidad, mailed from Halifax, N.S. The Sebastopol monument was erected in 1860 to commemorate the death of two Halifax men in the Crimean War. Major A.F Welsforde and Captain W.B.C.A Parker participated in the siege on Sebastopol.

"Dear Charlie Hope [illegible] this you have received Easter cards which I sent you. We are all well hoping this may find you the same close with congratulations from Uncle Charlie. [illegible] has a lovely baby girl. Your Mother will write you all
