"Got your letter all right-will do what I can about that money matter. Am afraid can't get much all pretty dry.
Some improvement in residence, electric lights in room. Have painted etc. More of this in "Theologue". Life pretty slow here. Had our row with Taylor. Will write results of this matter [illegible] later. yours in [illegible] L."
