KOSTER, Nick Nick passed away peacefully in his 85th year on Friday September 27, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. A dedicated family man, Nick leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years Sheila and his children Chris (Brad), Cheryl (Frank) and Steven (Lisa). Grandpa will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Danielle, Alex, Ryan, Connor, Trevor and Jacob. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Sarah and his sister Ans van de Meulen. Born in Holland, Nick came to Canada at age 18. Through hard work and dedication he earned his professional accounting designation (CMA) and made a name for himself in the pharmaceutical industry. Nick's love of travel led the family on many wonderful adventures in Canada and abroad. Nick was an avid skier and golfer and was a longtime volunteer with Scouts Canada and the CMA. His amiable and considerate nature, his musical talents and his love of family will be greatly missed by the many lives he touched. Particular thanks to Drs. Strang and McPhaden and all of the staff at Oakville Hospital for their special care. A service was held October 1, 2013. If desired, donations may be made to the Oakville Hospital.
